As an ethical remains artist, I hand collect all the bones myself, so I can actually ensure ethics and sustainability. I collected these through a roadkill opossum in Ojai, California. Many people in my field may purchase their bones from questionable sources or make empty claims of ethics, but this will never align with my morals, and is the reason I’m so transparent about my specimen sourcing.
